Under the agreement signed between Microsoft and the University Carlos III of Madrid, the software available on the MSAA Program (Microsoft Academic Alliance) can be used by all teachers and students from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, where for academic purposes, study or research. Specifically the agreement states:

"MSDN Academic Alliance is a program for university departments that can make available to teachers and students a range of development tools, server products, operating systems and Microsoft libraries information purposes only research and teaching" .

This software can not be used in any way for commercial purposes.
